These are the personal data which I use :

Your phone number;

Other data provided, for example through correspondence;
Data about your activities on the website (examples include, but are not limited to type of browser and language, reference and exit pages, operating system and other data).

When purchasing photos through me (and not via www.werkaandemuur.nl or www.society6.com), the following data shall be kept by me:

Surname;
Family name;
Country of residence;
Street and number;
ZIP-code;
City / Town;
E-mail address;
Business license and VAT number (if applicable);
Banking or wire transfer account;
Business name (if applicable).

In accordance with Belgian law, the above mentioned data, is kept for at least seven years.

When purchasing my images through www.werkaandemuur.nl or www.society6.com, you are not anymore on my website. Please note that I do not have control on the data of third parties. For your information: www.werkaandemuur.nl is registered in The Netherlands, www.society6.com in the United States of America.

#why do i collect your personal data?

Jochemoomen-images.com keeps data for the following aims:

By sending an e-mail, I consult the e-mail address, name and content. Due to Belgian law, I save my e-mails for seven years.
I use the statistics application Google Analytics to analyze your online behavior on my website in order to improve my website and your user experience. Tracking data from Google Analytics will be saved during a period 14 rolling months.
In order to create invoices, I use your name, e-mail address, invoice address, phone number, customer number and business license and VAT number if applicable. I require these data to process the payments. In accordance with Belgian tax legislation, it is mandatory to save these data for at least 5 years. After that time, I will remove them manually.

I will use your personal data solely for these aims. I will not transfer your data for commercial purposes or charities.

On this website, I will not collect personal information about political opinions, ethnic origins, religious views, safety, criminal data or other cases.

If you would like to know which personal data I use from you, you can send me an e-mail with a request to access your personal information. If there might be inaccuracies, you can ask me to adapt, complete, remove or hide these data, in accordance with Belgian lesgislation.

You can request me a transfer of your personal data or you can object against the use of your personal data due to exceptional circumstances. To ensure that this information is yours, I would kindly ask you to send me a copy of your identification by this request. Make sure that the next details will be hidden as protection for your privacy: MRZ (machine readable zone, the numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and national number (in Belgium rijksregisternummer, in The Netherlands Burgerservicenummer or BSN).

I consider the protection of personal data as very important and therefore I take action against misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. I secure your personal data by following measures:

Use of software to protect your privacy, for example a virus scanner and a firewall.
My computer and phone are protected with passwords.
I use TLS (SSL) encryption for the creating of a secure internet connection. You can recognize that as a padlock in the address bar in your browser and as the indication “https”.
I am the only person with access to this website, no other person can enter this site.
Passwords are managed by using LastPass.

#exceptional and sensitive information

I consider the privacy of persons under the age of 16 years old as extremely important. I do not want to collect data from this target audience, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. But I cannot control if a website visitor is older than 16 years. Therefore, I recommend parents or guardians to be involved with the online activities of their children. By doing that, you can prevent that personal information of them will be collect without your permission.
